An Overview of the Relational Harmony Institute training structures
The CSI, CSIB and CSSE training pathways.
Practitioner training now begins with the first-year Certificate in Somatic Intimacy Coaching (CSI), which includes all the micro-skills and practices of sexological bodywork, guiding self-touch using Clean Language & Body Poem coaching, and a robust session structure for online client sessions.
Certified Somatic Intimacy Coaches can continue to the second-year CSIB training, which includes touch and the Eleven-day in-person embodiment retreat in the mountains in Portugal.
Certified CSIBs can then further develop as somatic sex educators and coaches in the CSSE 3rd year, where you will accompany 1st-year CSI students through their CSI training and continue in paid coaching roles during the supervised practicum certification stages, becoming a recognised coach in these modalities.
After completing the third year, there is an opportunity to develop somatic sex educator leadership and supervision skills, becoming a professional supervisor who can supervise practitioners in the field. You will accompany 2nd-year CSIB students through their CSIB training and continue in paid coaching roles during the supervised practicum certification stages.
CERTIFICATE in SOMATIC SEX EDUCATION -
Developing your skills and experience as a Supervisor stepping into leadership
In the 3rd and 4th years CSSE and supervision training you will have an opportunity to revisit the CSI or CSIB material and deepen your knowledge. You will also develop your coaching, supervision, teaching, and leadership skills as you further explore your professional identity as a Somatic Sex Educator.
Having already completed CSB training and gained experience working with clients, you have a unique 'super vision.' This vision will guide and encourage first-and second-year students, and you will also learn coaching and supervision skills to support you in the role of a CSSE coach, a position of great responsibility and empowerment.
The CSSE curriculum supports personal and professional development and growth, weaving in teachings from the Right Use Of Power, In Love With Supervision, Co-Active Coaching, and The Art Of Somatic Coaching.
You will have opportunities to teach classes, lead group Erotic Embodiment practices, and develop your leadership educational material, with opportunities to present this in the IRHS postgraduate webinars and add your work to the IRHS postgraduate CPD resources.
You will explore coaching and supervision models and experience giving and receiving regular one-to-one supervision to develop your skills. You will also supervise your students as they enter supervised practicum sessions with clients. This provides an excellent foundation in supervision skills and will enable you to provide much-needed peer mentorship and supervision for practitioners.
“The Sexological Bodywork training of The Institute for Relational Harmony Studies is the most comprehensive sexuality training I have found. The syllabus is rich and covers an incredible breadth of subjects - neuroscience, embodied boundaries & consent, emotional command systems, somatic coaching techniques, rupture & repair processes, session structure, hygiene protocol, and of course, all the anatomy & physiology Sexological Bodywork tools. This training teaches the core competencies of how to meet another Human in their wholeness - with radical acceptance of all of their parts, including their erotic & sexual expression. It encourages you as a practitioner to trust your spontaneity, creativity, and intuition while equipping you with everything you need to build an ethical, trauma-informed practice. Katie’s passion, skill, embodied experience, and wisdom are the essence of this training which make It come alive with joy, love, care & laughter.” - Luzi Pods
