We offer training programs in Somatic Intimacy Coaching & Bodywork and, if you wish, support you as a somatic sex educator and influencer as you become a professional Supervisor. Online internationally and in person in the UK.

Katie Sarra and Dr Phoebe Garland each bring over 40 years of clinical practice and research across a range of specialisms, contributing to the unique weave of perspectives that inform the REEF™ (Relational Erotic and Emotional Fluency) Model, which includes Body Poem as a way of facilitating radical acceptance in the self-organising intelligence process of integration and trusting spontaneity.

We are dedicated to upholding standards of ethical practice, supporting practitioners in realising their creative potential.

Professional Supervision for Practitioners

Our CSSE Somatic Sex Educators and Professional Supervisors are trained to facilitate your supervision needs, informed by the Right Use of Power™, Body Poem™, and The Wheel of Consent™, to meet the ethical requirements to practice in this field.

Katie Sarra

Katie Sarra founded the Relational Harmony Institute with Dr Phoebe Garland, which grew out of The Sea School of Embodiment Somatic Sexology Training, where she certified 200+ practitioners in Sexological Bodywork. She choreographs and teaches practitioner professional certification in Body Poem, CSI Somatic Intimacy Coaching, CSIB Somatic Intimacy Bodywork Practitioner, and CSSE Somatic Sex Educator, and offers training in the UK, Ireland, and Europe, with embodiment intensives in Portugal and the UK that include Wheel of Consent and Right Use of Power training™. She is an active member of the ACSB Ethics Committee and Grievance Council, facilitating grievance processes. I have been part of Red Earth Playback Theatre for eighteen years, practising ‘Intimacy in the community’. I am a practising artist, painting in oils, transforming grief into beauty.

I believe that repairing ruptures in intention-impact mismatches is essential for us to learn to care for each other and trust spontaneity in our self-expression, enhancing personal power and play.

Practising radical acceptance with the versions of ourselves that secure our identity and belonging, as well as the unthought-knowns within us seeking recognition in the emergent process of living. I advocate for pro-social empathy and compassion in a world where ‘the dehumanisation network’ brain structures are at large. I also advocate for us human beings who need support with discernment. I also trust in the self-organising intelligence inherent in us, both individually and collectively, as part of the ecosystem.

Dr Phoebe Garland

Phoebe is a certified CSIB and CSSE. She brings over 30 years of experience as a GP and mindfulness teacher, as well as her own lifelong journey of seeking and personal growth practices, including working with Dr Claudio Naranjo in the SAT program, working with plant medicines, and many years as a composer and singer-songwriter. Her passion is to bring her expertise to the profession of somatic sex education by developing the curriculum and the certification process at the RHI to ensure that the RHI training equips Practitioners for ethical practice.

At the Institute of Relational Harmony Studies, Phoebe has brought her expertise to the structures of the existing training and the coaching model. Phoebe has collaborated with Katie Sarra to develop the REEF Coaching model (Relational Emotional and Erotic Fluency) to support the application and integration of Somatic Practices for Somatic Intimacy Practitioners, and to develop new training structures, including the 1st-year CSI and the 2nd-year CSIB. Phoebe has also developed the 3rd- and 4th-year CSSE Supervision training to support CSSE students in their personal and professional growth, as well as to support the growing community of Practitioners by providing much-needed professional supervisors in the field of somatic intimacy.

Luzi is an embodied pleasure activism specialist, sharing her generous passion for facilitating and teaching the healing power of self-pleasure practices. Luzi shares the bounty of her years of facilitating women's retreats for women learning the discipline of reclaiming our bodies and rewriting the script, exploring body image and sensual erotic self-expression. Luzi is part of our in-person retreat teacher team.

Aisha Paris Smith

Aisha brings her gifts of facilitating all aspects of intimacy training and bodywork practice with flair. Aisha is featured in the Channel 4 Virgin Islands program series. She is a passionate educator and curiosity generator, sharing her teachings with clarity and generosity, and offering her business guidance to our graduates. Aisha is part of our in-person retreat teacher team.

Arantxa Joseph

Somatic Sex Educator & Professional Supervisor

Arantxa brings her gifts of warmth and generosity, with specialisms in facilitating and teaching ethical, attuned Bodywork practices, and she shares her embodied joy in facilitating dance movement practices. Karen brings her attuned gifts of ethics and care, facilitating and teaching the essential micro-skills of intimacy training with the Wheel of Consent and Body Poem with compassion. Marin Marie

Somatic Sex Educator & Professional Supervisor

Marin brings their gifts of ethics and care to the Right Use of Power Curriculum and to the teaching and facilitation of Genital Anatomy classes and Bodywork Practices, specialising in non-binary and queer expressions of being human. Marin brings years of group work facilitation experience and offers CPD training for our graduates in group work. Marin is part of our in-person retreat teacher team.
